When I started my journey with online marketing two years ago, I was like many swept away in the big promise of overnight riches, like so many newbie’s share. My only goal was to make money, plain and simple. However this was the biggest reason for me not succeeding, because was that I was putting my own interest first.

4 - You start to build trust by communicating with your prospect via newsletters and auto responders

5 - After trust has been built in the communication process only then is your primary business being introduced to your prospect.

In this entire process:

- You only speak to the prospect once they are interested in your primary business.

- You do not have to convince anybody about your product or service, they system has taken care of that by educating them along the way.

- You do not have to do any personal presentations or phone calls, the system does that automatically.

- Even if the prospect does not join your primary business, they might be interested in your front end product.

With technology as it is at this day and age, starting an online business is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. Not only can you make more money than working a nine-to-five job for a boss, but it will allow you to work from the comfort of your own home, or anywhere else; and the freedom to manage your time the way you want to.

Having said that, why then do 95% of all the people whom start their online business actually fail or never make the dream income. It’s a fact that the top 2% of the internet marketers make more money than the 98% combined. Why is this so? I desperately wanted to know the answer, because until recently I was one of the 95% who was not making any money online. In these trying times, with so many Americans being laid off, hours cut, salaries froze, investments lost, mortgage challenges and so much more, I’m often asked, “How can I make some money?” Months of research have led to 5 ways that the average American can raise money with the least impact on their family. Sure the simple answer of get another or part time job may work for some but not all. In one case a woman taking on a part time job, after paying gas and child care was only brining home under $100 a month. What talent do you have that can bring in a few extra dollars?

1. Sell Your Stuff: With the technology we have today you could have a good old fashion garage sale without ever leaving your home. Selling on E Bay could turn into a part time business, or you can simply sell the items you no longer need. I had a client that made over $3,000 selling collectibles she no longer wanted to dust; she said that the proceeds covered almost six months of groceries. I met a man a year ago that sold an old comic book collection, the price he got for that collection allowed him to pay off his mortgage. Yes, pay off his mortgage. If you are not internet savvy you can go with the traditional garage or yard sale to make some extra money.

1. Sell Your Time: Instead of a part time job, what about a temporary job. Substitute teaching, census work, or utilizing the service of a temp agency. Maybe that talent of yours that you thought only friends and family members would pay for can turn into a small business. The owner of the healthcare temp agency I mentioned took her knowledge and years of experience and bought an existing business that is now booming, even in this economy. A graphic designer earns enough each month to pay his monthly mortgage payment from his small marketing business. If you choose this way to raise money, just make sure you do it right. Take a class or the very least read a book on starting a business and make sure you create a business plan. Many local community colleges have departments that provide assistance, mentoring, networking, etc. to new business owners at minimal to no cost.

1. Check your taxes: If your income was greatly reduced over the last year, you could get some of the tax dollars back that you paid in previous years by averaging out your income; this requires you consulting with a good tax preparer/accountant. A few realtors I know are taking advantage of the income averaging, since two years ago they sold more housed then they could count and in 2008 they sold less than a handful. While you are there have them check your deductions one too many is cash you could be getting every payday.

There’s always ways to save money, by cutting costs but sometimes we need to increase the money coming in just to make ends meet, looking into these different options can bring in that needed cash. The key so many people are looking for is way to do it with minimal cost to their family and children in terms of time away from them. Anyone one of these suggestions can work for you. We all have those “gotta have” items we paid premium dollars for that now can make us some money and we have options that will allow the time required to be what’s convenient for us and our families. With technology headed the direction it is, and Video absolutely taking over the internet, there are tons of people out there trying to figure out how to make money with online videos. The question is, how do you go about it?

Honestly, there are a lot of different ways to make money with online videos. What I want to focus on here is how Entrepreneurs can best take advantage of technology to make money with online videos.

It’s no secret that the best way to drive traffic with videos is to have your content highly indexed on Google and YouTube. Here I’ll give you some secrets on how to do this and thus, make money with online videos.

The first secret to making money with online videos is to write Keyword Rich Content to accompany your video. Yes, people look for video because they usually don’t want to take the time to Read things. They would rather watch on video. It’s more personal and believe me, it’s better for you that this is the case.

Now, writing keyword rich content is not hard and will pay off 10 fold in the end. You need to utilize a good keyword tool. (Here’s a Priceless Tip inside a Tip… if that makes any sense?) I use http://www.NicheBotClassic.com to do all my keyword research. When I write my keyword rich content to make money with online videos there are a couple things I look at.

I enter a keyword into the search and look for related keywords that are searched enough times that I’m pretty sure I’m going to get some traffic from them, generally at least 10-20 searches a day. Then I click on the “Check” link to see what the competition looks like on Google. Really, you want to find keywords with less than 15,000 search results. If you find that you should be able to get highly indexed in the search results.

When you find your keywords, create an article. Include your keyword at least once in the title and at least once in each paragraph. Make the article relevant to what people are searching for and Google and YouTube will both pick it up. This is the best way to get your Videos Seen, thus driving traffic to your website and helping you make money with online videos.

The next tip I have on this is to distribute to Multiple Video Sites. This is really key. You want to have that article/video in as many places as you can to make money with online videos. When I do content, I write an article and post it to 3-5 blogs, 4-5 article directories (or more) and I add it to my video on YouTube. Then I also use a Video Tool called Traffic Geyser to Distribute the Video to about 30 other sites across the net. Traffic Geyser, to me, is the best Video Distribution site on the net, but there is a monthly fee.

A Free site that does the same thing, on a lesser scale, is http://www.TubeMogul.com. TubeMogul will send your video to about 15 sites for free. Just go sign up and start pulling in some extra
traffic. Traffic Geyser is the king, but TubeMogul will definitely help you make money with online videos.
